Quick-Attack Stainless Steel Tanker

The Quick-Attack SST™ short wheelbase, under tank PTO pump which allows positioning the tank immediately aft of the cab, together with it's low profile and center-of-gravity tank and ideal weight distribution, makes the tanker ideal for -

  • Getting up and down hills safely and more easily
  • Maneuvering in and out of tight spots
  • Helping eliminate the awkward and time consuming task of backing the truck for a fill or dump operation

Several features are designed to reduce dump time and increase the GPM of your water shuttle program. -

  • The tank is strategically troughed inside the frame rails.
  • Quick-Attack SST The three (3) way dump feature (dumps at rear and both sides) includes convenient self activating side dump chutes which can be activated from inside the cab or at the rear of the fire truck (see photo in separate window).
  • The rear dump chute telescopes 36 inches.
  • 2100 gallon, passenger's side fold down portable tank rack (see photo in separate window)
  • Tank sizes range from 1500 gallons and up.
  • Oversized venting allows for fast fill and dump.
  • The pre-connected hose can be quickly deployed and charged as soon as the truck is positioned at a fire.
  • Water level gauges provide readouts at the rear, in the cab and at the pump panel.
  • Two (2) suction hose storage troughs and 4½" hoses
  • 4" rear fill with valve and customer choice of fitting
  • 500 GPM PTO drive fire pump with one left side 4½" suction inlet, one 2½" left side discharge and one 1½" pre-connect (see photo in separate window)

  • 3/16" aluminum cabinet floors
  • Flush Mounted compartment doors are painted inside and out
  • Stainless steel hardware
  • 1/4" pin stainless steel hinges
  • Cast fender trim
  • 3/8" x 2½" rub rails
  • Aluminum swirled or diamond plate interior door panels
  • Paint color and striping to match your fleet

Since not all fire departments have the exact same needs, we can customize. The following options are examples of features we've installed or omitted on the Quick-Attack SST -

  • Add 4 wheel drive
  • Add roll-up doors in lieu of standard hinged doors
