About UsCSI FIRE TRUCK DIVISION was formed as a division of CSI Industrial Systems in the mid 1980s. The division has serviced many of the local departments with fabrication, repair service and apparatus refurbishing. IN 1989, THE ORIGINAL CSI Fire & Truck Company was formed. This company was targeted to service the Emergency Services Industry in Michigan. Additional office space, fabrication and service area were added to the CSI Industrial Systems plant. IN THE YEARS TO FOLLOW, additional personnel have been added within the division, each of them bringing with them many years of experience within their field. To this we added on-going training and job programs with Kirtland Community College, factory authorized training, and firefighter training. Firefighter training, along with the firefighters on staff, work with engineering and customers to provide innovative answers to customers' requests. THE BUSINESS VOLUME of this company was consciously restricted to further develop the skills of sales, engineering, fabrication and service. Controlled growth has been, and will continue to be a target, along with the quality, service, and flexibility to meet customers needs. EARLY IN 1994, WE DIRECTED our attention to being the foremost supplier and builder of emergency apparatus in Michigan. The reception has been outstanding. Our sales volume has increased and is a direct reflection of our customers' confidence in our abilities and products. IN JANUARY OF 1995, this division of the company moved into their own new 14,000 square foot facility in Grayling with full sales, engineering, fabrication and service capabilities. In conjunction with the move, our name was changed to "CSI Emergency Apparatus". SINCE 1995, CSI has more than doubled production and staff. The new facility and staff have allowed CSI to rapidly grow yet maintain the high level of customer service they have been a custom to. CSI has seen growth in their entire product line however; they have seen a substantial increase in the sales of their unique tanker product. IN 1999, CSI EMERGENCY APPARATUS made a commitment to the sales of their standard tanker. With the launch of this marketing program, the tanker was trademark named the Quick-Attack SST. With this commitment to the market, CSI recognized the need for a business operating system that was recognized on an international scale. ON FEBRUARY 11TH 2000, CSI EMERGENCY APPARATUS achieved ISO 9001 Registration (certificate number 69561-1). AS OF AUGUST 1ST 2002, CSI EMERGENCY APPARATUS was acquired by a group of managers from within the organization as an asset management buyout. The managers have been running this division of the company since it was founded in 1989. The company is now operating on its own as a Limited Liability Company "LLC" as CSI Emergency Apparatus, LLC. The owners are committed to maintaining the operation as it has been in the past and prides itself on its ability to work directly with departments on a nation wide basis to provide the highest quality apparatus in the industry.
